Common questions, answered.
Each strain project pairs one organism with one target molecule. For example, developing Aspergillus niger to produce citric acid is one project. A single project can include multiple iteration cycles. Choosing another organism or target molecule starts a new project.
Yes. Existing organism models and project data transfer without re-entry. Upgrading between tiers does not require restarting active projects.
Lab tier comes with pre-built models for common industrial chassis: E. coli, S. cerevisiae, A. niger, B. subtilis. Scale and Enterprise tiers support custom organism model building. We create a genome-scale model for your production strain using the genome data and fermentation records you provide.
We review early-access requests before billing starts. After approval and completed onboarding, monthly billing begins on that date. Lab and Scale tiers have no minimum commitment, and cancellation is allowed each month.
At minimum, provide organism identification, including species and strain designation, target molecule, and current titer/yield baseline data. For custom organism model building, we also need genome sequence data and fermentation process records. Our onboarding team helps structure the data intake for your specific case.
We never use your data to train models for other customers. Models built from your proprietary fermentation data remain limited to your organization. Enterprise customers may request on-premise or private cloud deployment for full data sovereignty. Data handling terms appear in our Data Processing Agreement, available on request.
